Sunday School meets every Sunday morning during the school year (except scheduled holiday breaks) from 8:45-9:45am. Classes are offered for children ages 4 through high school, and for adults as well. These classes are available to anyone who seeks to learn more about God and His world.
Cadets is a program for boys who are in grades 4-8. We have meetings twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Monday nights during the school year. The boys can work on a wide variety of badges individually or with their Cadre. We also have a Bible lesson, game time and other activities at each meeting. The boys are able to build and race pinewood derby cars every year at the club level and in our area Pinewood race in Ripon in February. Other activities include going to a ball game, local campouts and canoe derbies as well as activities with their cadre (age group) and counselor. Shirts, books, pinewood cars etc. are provided at no cost and we have one local fundraiser dinner every year where the boys do the cooking! For more information contact Ian Koetsier at 239-3783 or email Chuck Van Gorkum at cvangorkum@sbcglobal.net. For information on the Golden Bear Council visit their website at www.gbccadets.com.
